Dig & Plough.

To all the letters that one doesn’t write at the time one should, and regret later, the deal is that the realisation comes only with experience. So it’s not really a mistake. Life really comes to a full circle sometimes. But all we really need to know is how to reach to the other end with sensibilities intact. ‘Coz it’s a circle at the end of the day. Finding the end is difficult. But in the meantime, enjoy the rounds!

Probably one day a grown up kid can walk in a cabin with a glass door to knock on, that what new pieces should we include in this month’s issue. And finally finding a small one, extending it like a chewing gum, adding coloured flavour to it with the dashes of creativity, write something to the best. And days later, hold the published copy to check the credits, to feel having achieved something.

If I dig deep into myself, I don’t think I like much of what I want to like. I haven’t changed. Like I was since the start. Always told her to wear this/that, put on this/that, say this/that, not say this/that but times have changed. Too much of something really gets suffocating, isn’t it? I want her to be the way I expect or what I say, but don’t really want it that way. Like if she’s sensibly taking time away to think, I wouldn’t like that. But ideally, that’s what I’d want from a person, to react intelligently in a situation. If two people are clones to each other, then it’ll be like the mirror. You get bored of looking at the mirror for 15 minutes, half an hour, or one hour maybe? But if two are poles apart, it’s too opaque for any commonalty to pass through. Though, I wouldn’t want her to follow the exact me anywhere, but would want the basics. Would love the carefree, fun, adorable attitude, but just till the line. Too restrictive. Liking myself? Not affirmative.

  1. I really like your last paragraph. You have found the 'insight'! ;)

  2. It comes with time no? Digging deep inside yourself? Still, many a times, we don't know what we want. Strange! :)
